A slightly disappointing loss yesterday against Crouch End Calthorpe. In contrast to some spectacular performances in recent weeks the top order batting failed to fire strongly yesterday, and despite an unbeaten 65 from skipper Aff Nassem we fell 60 odd runs short of the challenging 253 target set by Crouch End earlier in the day. Still a good day out on a very pleasant late summer day, and our first experience of playing a one-off home game at Winchmore Hill (was not bad at all actually). More detailed report to follow.
