Shawn Hill turned in another blistering bowling performance as Wash beat Great Gaddesden for the first time since June 2006. Washington's runs came predominantly from skipper Kiwi Harris, Chris Davis, Brian White and Sandeep Kuckreja as Wash posted what seemed a slightly below par total of 181. However Hill's bowling spell of 5-16 in 8 overs proved to be decisive. All his wickets were bowled as Gaddesden went from a comfortable 79 for 1 after 15 overs to 145 all out 16 overs later. Chris Davis, Sandeep Kuckreja and Russell Pendry also chipped in with wickets.
