Now firmly established in the club and steadily improving in his all round game - evidenced by wickets in 2007 and an Award for Achievement in Fielding - Russell is the 2008 Bowler of the year. He took 31 wickets during the season as well as a fifer on tour. The first wicket of the season was mid-innings on a difficult wicket that wasn't turning much...as he came in he thought.........
