John Chantrell

Individual Statistics
Aussie Bill Reid (already a player with the Wash) suggested that John have a few beers with Dave Walker and have a net with the team. Skipper Walker thought John was young enough to fetch the ball from beyond the boundary so he played a trial game, made a few runs(not many - JC)and then proceeded to play about 80 games over the next 3 seasons. John stopped playing with the Wash because he went back to Australia to live in 1993 and has been sorely missed since.
